Spacenet Enterprises has announced the acquisition of a stake in String Metaverse, a company with a growing presence in India, Hong Kong, and Gift City in Gujarat. String Metaverse is actively expanding its Esports platform across multiple regions, including India, the Middle East, South East Asia, and Europe.
Prakash Dasigi, Executive Director of Spacenet Enterprises India, expressed confidence in the investment, citing the success of their previous stake acquisition in BillMart. He stated, “Our second investment into String Metaverse reaffirms our confidence that both investments will yield exceptional returns, potentially ranging from 50-100 times for our shareholders over the next 3-5 years.”
String Metaverse aims to capitalize on the global Esports market, with Ganesh Meenavalli, Director and Head of Global Esports Operations at String Metaverse, highlighting the significant role the Gen Z community in India will play in leading the global Esports scenario. He mentioned that the Indian Esports community, comprising more than 20 million Gen Z individuals, is poised to make a substantial impact on the global Esports landscape.
