Gabor Gurbacs, director of digital asset strategy at New York-based investment management firm VanEck, said on social media that some of the most liquid currency pairs on Binance (excluding Binance.US) are traded in USDT.
It is a wise move for CZ to support USDT. Tether’s focus on emerging markets may be considered less risky by Binance users around the world compared to U.S.-issued stablecoins.
A win-win for Binance users. The U.S. regulatory landscape for cryptocurrency businesses is confusing, unfriendly, and unreliable. No wonder people, businesses and exchanges are turning away from American products.
Not too long ago, owning/using an American product was a matter of pride, today it’s more of a responsibility. Tether reminds me of old school American ways of doing business.
Long-term focus, reliable, and committed to creating value for every user and partner. It is the best thing that can happen to the dollar in international finance.
