According to the Russian satellite network, Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the Russian State Duma International Affairs Committee, said that a unified digital currency with Iran may be implemented before the end of the year, which is a promising direction.
Russia’s ambassador to Tehran, Alexei Dedov, said earlier in February that Russia and Iran were studying the possibility of using digital currencies in import and export operations.
He noted that the process is “in a working phase” and requires careful study by experts, including the establishment of the necessary legal and regulatory framework.
