Portal, a Web3 wallet infrastructure startup, announced the completion of $5.3 million in financing, with participation from Slow Ventures, Haun Ventures, Acrew Capital, and Chapter One, a venture capital firm founded by Andreessen Horowitz alumnus Kaite Haun.
San Francisco-based Portal provides wallet infrastructure and a decentralized application (dapp) store, making the project a Web3-enabled application.
A developer kit helps portal partners easily connect to protocols and dapps directly or from a mobile or desktop browser. Additionally, Portal CEO Raj Parekh previously led Visa’s global encryption products division.
