On December 27, 2024, OKX, a leading crypto exchange, is set to launch USDT – margined perpetual futures for two AI – focused projects, GRIFFAIN and ZEREBRO. These new offerings come with 50x leverage and reduced fees, catering to the growing demand for AI – themed crypto assets.
The listings will commence at 07:00 am UTC for GRIFFAIN and 07:15 am UTC for ZEREBRO. Traders can access these futures through OKX’s web platform, mobile application, and API.
GRIFFAIN is an AI – powered platform that empowers users to turn their intentions into tasks via smart, personalized AI agents. It allows users to build and deploy custom AI agents for automation within its ecosystem. For GRIFFAIN perpetual futures, traders can open positions with leverage ranging from 0.01x to 50x, and the contracts are settled in Tether (USDT). The contract size is 10, and the funding interval is 4 hours.
ZEREBRO, on the other hand, is an AI platform facilitating decentralized content creation, distribution, and analysis on social platforms. Its perpetual futures contract shares similar trading specifications with GRIFFAIN, including the 0.01x – 50x leverage range and USDT settlement. It aims to integrate autonomous AIs into decentralized content ecosystems.
To mitigate market volatility during the initial trading phase, OKX will cap the funding fee of both perpetual futures at 0.03% until 4:00 pm UTC on December 27. After this introductory period, the maximum funding fee will return to the normal 1.5%. Funding fees will be applied every four hours, with the first post – adjustment fee at 8:00 pm UTC on the day of the platform addition.
This move aligns with OKX’s ongoing strategy to expand its perpetual futures offerings. As the AI crypto space garners diversified interest, with a 4.68% increase in overall market cap over the last 7 days, reaching a value of $32.63 billion according to CryptoSlate, the exchange is responding to market trends.
Traders are advised to thoroughly read OKX’s trading guides and terms for perpetual futures, as these contracts follow the same price limits as other digital assets traded on the platform.
