According to reports, Unstoppable Domains promised to sign the “patent nonaggression pact” in the Web3 domain name alliance, which is composed of dozens of companies that provide naming services. Other members of the group enforce a key patent called “Resolving Blockchain Domains.”

While announcing the patent commitment, Unstoppable Domains also revealed that another 52 projects have joined the Web3 domain name alliance, including the cryptocurrency exchange Blockchain.com and the NFT market Rarible, but the Ethereum name service Ethereum Name Service (ENS) has not yet Join, the ENS lead developer expressed reservations about his rival’s decision to open source code and domain intellectual property.
