The creators of the popular Telegram-based crypto game, Hamster Kombat, have announced the final list of players eligible for their highly anticipated airdrop event. Scheduled for September 26, this event marks a significant milestone in the game’s debut season.
131 Million Players Qualified for Airdrop
The Hamster Kombat development team revealed that 131 million players globally have met the criteria for the upcoming airdrop, while 2.3 million players were disqualified for cheating. The airdrop will feature the distribution of 100 billion $HMSTR tokens, a substantial sum aimed at rewarding the game’s user base.
Season 2 and Future Developments
In addition to the airdrop announcement, the developers have also unveiled plans for Season 2 of Hamster Kombat. Since its launch in March 2024, the game has attracted over 300 million players, achieving notable popularity in regions including Africa, South Asia, Russia, Turkey, and Iran.
Token Distribution Details
For the airdrop event, the developers plan to allocate 75% of the 100 billion $HMSTR tokens to the community. Of these tokens, 60% will be distributed immediately after Season 1 ends. Each eligible user will receive 88.75% of their allocated tokens during the airdrop, with the remaining 11.25% subject to a vesting period of ten months post-listing.
This airdrop is poised to be one of the largest in crypto gaming history, with enthusiasts eagerly anticipating the distribution and subsequent launch of the $HMSTR token.
