Pi Network has officially extended the deadline for Pioneers to submit their Know Your Customer (KYC) applications, moving the date from September 30 to November 30, 2024. This adjustment ensures that users still have ample time to complete their KYC within the existing 6-month Grace Period.
Despite this extension, the final deadline for full migration to Pi Network’s Mainnet remains unchanged at December 31, 2024. Pioneers must meet both deadlines, or risk losing the majority of their Pi balance, except for Pi mined in the past six months.
This decision addresses concerns regarding inaccuracies with some Pioneers’ KYC timers and provides additional time to help ensure that all members can participate fully in the network’s migration process. Pi Network’s leadership emphasized that this extension will boost inclusivity and further community engagement as they approach the official launch of the Open Network.
Pioneers are encouraged to inform their Referral Team and Security Circle to meet the new KYC deadlines, securing their Pi balances and supporting the growth of the network.
For further details on the Grace Period, users can refer to the official announcement on Pi Network’s communication platforms.
